Inspired by the surrealist movement of the 20th century, Two Left Feet concentrates on the playful unconscious of mixing and joining disparate imagery.
Two Left Feet is an exploration of how individual images, once sequenced, allude to multiple connections and narratives. The series is a blend of fashion-oriented portrait work with a focus on the sculptural qualities of the human form and styling, juxtaposed with floral forms. The arrangement of gesture and object invites new meaning and association between the imagery, as it attempts to capture the sense of the ordinary made unfamiliar.
Special thanks to Steph Reid for the styling, Paris McBride for the floral arrangements and to models Ben Samaddar, Yanguntitled and Josef Lew Fatt. Special thanks to all the designers involved for their beautiful pieces; Michelle Li, Vasilios Billy Souflas and Hugo Stynes.
